power apps environment variable not found

Power Apps doesn't show Environment Variables. I created a solution containing SharePoint DataSource Environment Variables and a Power App. When editing the Power App and attempting to connect the Environment Variables, there are no environment variables displayed. I also have the Environment Variables Setting turned on for the Power App. However, I wanted to use the environment variables that I created in the solution instead of power apps.
